National Winter Activity Center

The National Winter Activity Center (NWAC) is rooted in the rich history of Hidden Valley, a beloved former commercial ski mountain that has been thoughtfully reimagined as a dedicated youth winter sports campus in New Jersey. What was once a community ski destination is now a purpose built space where young people from all backgrounds can discover confidence, belonging, and opportunity through winter sports.

Today, NWAC operates exclusively as a youth serving winter sports facility, featuring state of the art snowmaking, grooming, and lift infrastructure designed to support safe, high-quality programming. Through its programs, participants are fully equipped with skiing and snowboarding gear, provided healthy meals, and guided by experienced instructors across alpine skiing and snowboarding.

Guided by the RISE framework: Resilience, Inclusivity, Support, and Empowerment. Every experience at the National Winter Activity Center is intentionally designed to help youth grow on and off the snow. From first time introductions to winter sports through advanced skill development and competition paths, NWAC creates an environment where young people are encouraged to discover their potential.

By honoring the legacy of Hidden Valley, the National Winter Activity Center ensures the mountain continues to serve the community as a place where youth can RISE, thrive, and carry these experiences far beyond the slopes.
