February continues to showcase the very best of Winter4Kids!
A message from the CEO
2/13/2026
Every day on the mountain, we see young people building confidence, resilience, and community through skiing and snowboarding. What may look like a winter sport is truly a life skills classroom in motion.
Our First Tracks program remains at the heart of our mission, introducing hundreds of students to the mountain in a structured and supportive environment. Participation continues to grow, and the energy across our programs has been strong. Our race team is also seeing meaningful momentum, with increased registrations and expanded opportunities through NJISRA and USSS high school racing.
We are especially excited to host our Chill & Chili community event on February 22nd. This day is more than just skiing and great food. It is an opportunity to bring together race families, alumni, supporters, and friends of Hidden Valley to celebrate how far we have come and where we are headed. Events like this strengthen our community and remind us why this mountain means so much to so many.
February is also Black History Month, a time to recognize and honor the contributions, leadership, and resilience of Black individuals throughout history and within our own communities. At Winter4Kids, inclusion is not a seasonal initiative. It is central to who we are. We are committed to expanding access to winter sports, breaking down barriers, and ensuring that every child, regardless of background, sees themselves represented and supported on the mountain. This work matters, and it aligns directly with our mission and our values.
Everything we do is grounded in our RISE framework: Resilience, Inclusion, Support, and Empowerment. These principles guide our coaching, our partnerships, and our leadership decisions every single day.
Thank you for being part of this journey. The momentum we are building together is real, and February is a powerful reminder of what is possible when community, inclusion, and mission align.
