At Winter4Kids, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover what they are capable of. For many young people, that journey begins with a first day on snow.

That is why we are incredibly grateful for our partnership with the Share Winter Foundation.

Share Winter is more than a grantmaker. They are a national leader working to expand access to skiing and snowboarding for youth who might not otherwise have the opportunity to participate. Through funding, strategic support, industry partnerships, and a commitment to creating a more welcoming winter sports community, Share Winter helps thousands of young people experience the joy and benefits of being on snow each year.

What makes Share Winter unique is they invest in organizations, provide ongoing support, share best practices, and help build sustainable programs that create long-term pathways into winter sports.

Their mission aligns closely with our own. Both organizations believe that winter sports can be a powerful tool for building confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. By helping remove barriers to participation, Share Winter is ensuring that more young people can experience the freedom, challenge, and accomplishment that come from learning to ski or snowboard.

Over the years, Share Winter has helped create opportunities for tens of thousands of youth across the country, connecting programs, industry partners, and communities around a shared goal: making winter sports more accessible for all. In recent years, they have supported more than 48,000 youth annually through programs in communities across the United States.

Their support helps organizations like Winter4Kids continue providing meaningful experiences that go far beyond learning a sport. Every day on the mountain is an opportunity for a young person to try something new, overcome challenges, build friendships, and develop confidence that carries into every aspect of life.
